Google Reaffirms Thailand Investment Commitment in AI and Data-Centre Development

On 5 November, Alphabet and Google executives met Thailand’s Prime Minister to discuss digital infrastructure, AI development and sustainable data-centre operations. Google reaffirmed its commitment to investing in Thailand, while the government proposed an AI-powered one-stop licensing service for data-centre approvals. No new Thailand-specific investment amount or technology contract price was disclosed. The discussions create opportunities in cloud computing, AI services and digital transformation.
